Agent-based generative drawing system

I created this album cover for Ground Patrol's new album Migrations. Inspired by the music's polyrhythms, I used a custom evolutionary, agent-based model that simulates hundreds of "drawing agents", who each deposit a trail of ink on a virtual canvas. Each agent has a different degree of behavioural irrationality (the propensity to meander from a straight path). The level is genetically encoded and varies of the lifetime of each agent. The drawing is complete when all the agents die.

Several different verions were created for various releses. The album is now available for streaming.
